It is 1925 and the butler, Weeves, opens the door of Country House to all manner of interesting wealthy socialites. You will get to decide who loves who, who hates who, and how this comedy of manners will unfold. And there will be nary a murder in sight!

The team behind Murder Village: An Improvised Whodunnit brings the charm of countryside England to Melbourne Fringe for five off-the-cuff sojourns inspired by Downton Abbey, Noël Coward, Oscar Wilde and P. G. Wodehouse.

While you’re visiting the estate, you might just get the chance to peek into the monied lives of high society’s movers and shakers. But during their escape to the country, this cast of characters will find their fortunes very much hinge on your scandalous suggestions…
